Program Options and Fees
Integrated Learning Program (200-Hour In-Person/Online Hybrid)
-
Description: A blend of in-person training sessions (in Australia only) combined with online coursework. This program is available to students who can attend the in-person components in Australia (e.g., scheduled workshops or retreats), alongside online study modules.
-
Tuition: $2,222 (Australian Dollars) for the full program. This includes all in-person training sessions and 12 months of online platform access.
-
Payment Options: Students may pay the $2,222 tuition in full upfront, or opt for a payment plan of 4 monthly installments. Choosing the installment plan incurs an additional $50 administrative fee (totaling $2,272).
-
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $222 is required to secure a spot in the Integrated Learning training. This deposit is applied toward the tuition but will not be refunded if the student cancels their enrollment. (See Refund and Cancellation Policy below for details on cancellations.)
-
Included Materials: The tuition covers all training manuals, online resources, and any assessments. Travel, accommodation, or meals for in-person sessions are not included unless explicitly stated by the program organizers.
Online-Only Program (200-Hour Fully Online)
-
Description: A fully online 200-hour yoga teacher training that can be accessed globally. Students can complete the coursework remotely through our online learning platform, with no in-person attendance required.
-
Tuition: $1,222 for the complete online training program. This includes 12 months of access to all online course content (video lectures, digital manuals, assignments, etc.).
-
Payment Options: Students may pay $1,222 in full to enroll, or choose a 4-month installment plan. The installment plan for the online course also incurs a $50 admin fee, bringing the total to $1,272 if paid over four months.
-
Access on Enrollment: Upon receipt of either full payment or the first installment, the student is granted access to the full online course content. Please note: Once access to the online program is provided, the entire tuition becomes non-refundable (see Refund and Cancellation Policy). This policy is in place because students gain immediate access to proprietary course materials upon enrollment.
-
Note: All prices are listed in AUD. Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other methods as specified by the program. Any applicable taxes or transaction fees will be the responsibility of the student.
Payment Terms
-
Deposit for Integrated Program: As noted, a $222 deposit is required for the Integrated Learning program. This deposit is non-refundable and secures your place in the training. The deposit amount will be deducted from the remaining tuition balance.
-
Payment Plan Details: If a student selects the installment payment plan (for either program), they will sign an installment agreement. The tuition will be divided into four (4) monthly payments. The first installment (for the Integrated program, this would effectively include the $222 deposit) is due at enrollment to secure the spot. The remaining three installments will be due on a monthly schedule (dates will be specified in the payment agreement). An additional $50 administrative fee is added to the total tuition for using a payment plan (this fee can either be included in the first payment or evenly divided among installments, as communicated by the administration).
-
Administrative Fee: The $50 admin fee for payment plans is non-waivable and covers the extra processing and management required for multiple payments. If the student switches from a payment plan to paying in full, the admin fee is still applicable once a plan has been initiated.
-
Full Payment Deadline (Integrated Program): For the Integrated Learning program, the full tuition must be paid by the start date of the training (unless a prior written arrangement is made). Students on the payment plan must be current on all payments by the program start; failure to pay installments on time may result in loss of the spot in the training (see Non-Payment below).
-
Non-Payment & Late Payments: Timely payment of all tuition and fees is required. If a scheduled installment is missed or a payment is more than 7 days late, the student will be notified of the delinquency. The following may occur in cases of non-payment or late payment:
-
Suspension of Access: For online students, course access may be suspended until payments are brought up to date, since the content has been provided with the expectation of full payment.
-
Late Fees: The program reserves the right to charge a reasonable late fee or interest for overdue payments (e.g., a late fee of $25 for payments more than 7 days late), as outlined in the payment plan agreement.
-
Collection of Outstanding Fees: If a student withdraws or is dismissed (for reasons outlined elsewhere in these terms) and has not paid the full tuition, they remain obligated to pay any outstanding balance. In cases of default on the payment plan, the studio may utilize a collection agency or legal means to collect the owed tuition.
-
Completion of Payments for Certification: All tuition payments (including all installments and any extension fees) must be completed in full in order for a student to receive their teaching certificate. The program will not issue the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate until the account balance is paid in full, even if the student has met all academic and attendance requirements.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Integrated Learning Program (In-Person/Hybrid) – Cancellation and Refund Terms:
-
Non-Refundable Deposit: The $222 deposit is strictly non-refundable. If a student cancels their enrollment at any time, this deposit will be retained by the program to cover administrative costs and commitment of the spot.
-
Cancellation more than 6 weeks before start date: If a student decides to withdraw from the Integrated program more than 6 weeks (42 or more days) prior to the scheduled start date of the training, they will not lose their entire tuition. In this case, the student is entitled to a refund of any tuition paid minus the $222 deposit. For example, if the student had paid the full $2,222, they would receive $2,000 back. If they were on a payment plan and had only paid the deposit, no further payments will be collected, but the deposit is kept. (Alternatively, the student may choose to keep the full paid amount as credit toward a future training rather than take a refund, if they plan to reschedule.)
-
Cancellation within 6 weeks of start date (42 to 8 days prior): If a student cancels their enrollment less than 6 weeks but more than 7 days before the program start date, the studio will retain 50% of the full program tuition. This means the student is financially responsible for 50% of the $2,222 cost.
-
If the student had already paid in full, 50% ($1,111) will be refunded and 50% retained.
-
If the student had not yet paid in full (e.g., was on a payment plan or only paid the deposit), they will be invoiced for the difference up to 50%. (For example, if only the $222 deposit was paid, the student must pay an additional $889 to reach 50% of tuition as owed.)
-
Transfer Option: In lieu of forfeiting this amount, the student has the option to transfer their enrollment to a later scheduled teacher training program (Integrated format at a future date) or to switch to the Online-Only program. If transferring to a future Integrated training, any payments made will be applied as credit to that future training (and no additional penalties beyond the non-refundable deposit). If switching to the Online-Only program, the student's payments will be applied toward the $1,222 online tuition; any amount paid in excess of $1,222 will be forfeited or can be applied towards extension fees or other services (no cash refund of the difference). This transfer or switch must be arranged at the time of cancellation.
-
Cancellation within 7 days of start date (including no-show or withdrawal after start): If a student cancels within one week of the start date, or does not show up, or withdraws after the training has begun, they are responsible for 100% of the program tuition. No refund will be given for last-minute cancellations or for dropping out once the course has commenced. The full tuition is considered owed and/or earned at this point due to the inability to fill the spot and the advance costs incurred by the program. (In cases of severe medical emergency or other extraordinary circumstances, the studio may, at its sole discretion, allow a transfer to a later program or an online program as a one-time courtesy, but no refund will be issued.)
-
No Additional Cancellation Fees: The program does not charge a separate cancellation processing fee. The only amounts retained are as described above (deposit, 50%, or full tuition based on timing). To officially cancel, the student must notify the program administrator in writing (email is acceptable) as soon as possible. The date of the written notice will determine the applicable refund policy.
Refund and Cancellation Policy Online
Online-Only Program – No Refund Policy:
-
Due to the digital nature of the Online-Only training and the immediate access to all course materials upon enrollment, no refunds will be provided for the online course once payment has been made and access granted. This policy is standard for online courses where intellectual property is delivered upfront.
-
If a student pays in full, the entire amount is non-refundable after they have been enrolled and given login credentials.
-
If a student is on a payment plan, they are expected to complete all installment payments even if they choose to discontinue the training, because from day one they have the benefit of all course content. There are no cancellations or early withdrawals allowed that relieve the student of the obligation to pay the full tuition for the online program. (No “prorated” refunds for partially completed online courses.)
-
Exception – prior to access: The only instance where an online student might receive a refund is if they enrolled and paid but have not yet accessed any of the online materials and they request a cancellation within a very short window (for example, within 3 days of purchase, and our system confirms no logins). In such a case, the program may consider a partial refund minus an administrative fee. However, once any course content has been accessed or the 72-hour grace period has passed (whichever comes first), no refund will be issued.
-
We emphasize this No-Refund Policy for online courses to be transparent: please be sure of your commitment to the training before enrolling in the online program. If you have questions about the course content or technology requirements, address them prior to registration.
Program Cancellation or Changes by Provider:
Cancellation or Changes by Elements Academy Pty Ltd
-
In the unlikely event that the training provider (our yoga school) needs to cancel or postpone a training program (for example, due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances), registered students will be notified as soon as possible. Students will be given the option to receive a full refund of all tuition paid (including deposit, in this special case) or to transfer to a future scheduled training with no penalty. We will make every effort to accommodate students in the next available training if a cancellation occurs.
-
If an in-person module of the Integrated program is postponed or rescheduled (for example, a weekend workshop is delayed due to a public emergency or lockdown), students will be given substitute sessions or makeup dates. Minor schedule changes do not entitle students to a refund as long as the training hours are provided in full. If a student cannot attend the rescheduled dates, they may transfer to a future cohort.
-
Note that we require a minimum number of participants to run the Integrated Learning program. If that minimum is not met and we decide to cancel the course offering, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full, or students can choose to apply their payment to the online program or a future training.
-
The training provider is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs incurred by students. We strongly recommend that students booking flights or hotels for the Integrated training purchase flexible options or travel insurance. If a training is canceled or postponed, the school is not liable for outside costs; our liability is limited to fees paid for the training itself.
